Yes, it can get frustrating at times, but there are some important elements that you must know before making this change in your workflow, and if you do not make them now, then they will not be for you when you start uploading your content on Youtube. So let’s get started!
How to upload youtube shorts and monetization your channel
YouTube Shorts is a new feature on the YouTube app that allows users to create and share short videos, similar to TikTok. One of the key elements of a successful YouTube Short is a compelling thumbnail, which is the image that appears on the video's preview on the app. If you're an Android user and want to know how to select a thumbnail for your YouTube Short, follow these steps.
1. Open the YouTube app on your Android device and go to the Shorts camera by tapping on the Shorts icon in the bottom navigation bar.
2. Record your video using the Shorts camera, or select a video from your device's camera roll to upload as a YouTube Short.
3. Once your video is uploaded, tap on the edit icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
4. In the edit screen, tap on the thumbnail icon in the bottom left corner. This will open a selection of thumbnail options for your video.

5. Scroll through the thumbnail options and select the one that you think will be the most eye-catching and compelling for your video. You can also use the edit icon to make further adjustments to the thumbnail, such as cropping or adding filters.
6. Once you're satisfied with your thumbnail, tap on the save icon in the top right corner of the screen to apply the changes and return to the edit screen.
7. From the edit screen, you can make further edits to your video, such as adding music or captions, before publishing it to YouTube Shorts.
In conclusion, selecting a thumbnail for your YouTube Short on Android is a simple process that can help to make your video more engaging and attractive to viewers. By following the steps outlined above, you can easily select a thumbnail and make any necessary adjustments to ensure that your YouTube Short stands out on the app.
✍ 1. Configuring Your Keyword
First of all, click the settings button (it looks like an open button) in the top right corner of your screen and you will see an option called “Keywords” Here, select one keyword such as “YouTube Subtitle” or “YouTube Soundbites” Now, go back to the main tab and click the key you have selected to enable it in the setting menu. You would be able to view where YouTube’s metadata has been changed. In the above screenshot, I had just added a single word in my sentence which was “YouTube Soundbites” Now just click the OK button to stop editing & continue working on your next task. Once both boxes of the name are filled properly, you should not need to edit any text.

Now we know what keywords we have selected, and now we should configure our subtitle. Go to File Menu > New > Subtitle Click on Add Subtitle > Then specify the title that you want to use for your subtitles and also choose from the following options. Now enter into the box Title - You can name your subtitle something funny and unique, but I prefer adding numbers to represent the month it belongs to. Description – You can keep things simple and explain everything in plain English, but I prefer explaining everything in English by giving the reader a hint of what type of information is going to be explained. Alignment – This helps you align the subtitles properly. Footer – If you add footers, then youtube videos would automatically show a preview of the thumbnail. Edit Options — I would recommend keeping the default options as is, but if you feel it will be better for you or you want to check the alignment of the text, then you can make those changes. But please note that the same edit settings changes, so you might have to make adjustments again in the future. Preview Mode – No. I don’t mind watching videos with no sound. The only thing is that this mode may look ugly and make you feel confused. All images can be seen as standard-size thumbnails as well as cropped to fit. Thumbnails Size – This can help you optimize your YouTube page and also add more descriptions on images. Thumbnail image – This allows you to put up a picture of yourself while recording a video. It shows you who you are while putting a video together. Link Button – Finally, here you can link your website and give links to other sites. Note, that this link can include several websites instead of the text itself.
✍ 2. Adding Captions
Now we will talk about captions. First of all, if you are going to refer to someone in your video, they must know their own identity to find them and watch any of their content which is why having captions is an important part of creating great videos, so we will talk about this later. For now, we will be focusing on the option “YouTube Audio Caption” Here you have two settings for captions. One is for captions that accompany voiceover and another one is for captions in background music. Just click Create Caption from the first window. You should now notice that these options are available as separate tabs. We will mention them briefly in the next section. Let us now move forward to creating the captions in the second window. I have created a list of words for each of the three categories we talked about earlier in the article. Just paste your names and save them as. HSV files as well. These. HSV files will serve as visual files so please remember that they are actually read-only. So if you were to play them loud enough in the headphones, you might cause problems for people listening to the audio. Let me explain further: When you insert a video on youtube, it generates thumbnails of its contents, and every time any user clicks on a thumbnail or visits thumbnails of videos on youtube, it takes a snapshot of the video file. You can take advantage of this by clicking the icon to play around with different formats and sizes of thumbnails. As soon as the video is played in the browser, it opens in full screen. It looks like normal content. That’s where most users are missing. They do not have access to the full-screen version as it does not allow them to pause the videos and is rather annoying. So let’s say you have noticed that during the playback of Facebook videos, sometimes even the voice coming out of them is garbled. You can fix that easily by replacing all the pauses during the music. Most of the time there is something wrong with the voice, either after playing the video or a mistake made while speaking.
